All connections are solder-joined making a permanent connection that will not jar free. Insulating connections with heat shrink tubing to protect them from the elements and corrosion whenever possible.
Free "Re & Re" Program - Purchase a CD player with installation from AVU and we will install it in your next vehicle at no labour charge (parts extra). You can change your vehicle as many times as you like.(Re & Re Program is available at select AVU locations.)
Lifetime warranty. All of our Custom AVU labour carries a lifetime warranty. However if you choose, we will reluctantly install your system to the lower standards of some of our competitors at a 20% labour discount. We stand behind our installations. By choosing to down-grade your install, we can not provide our "Re & Re" program or Lifetime Warranty, as the nature of our custom install is designed to prolong the life and performance of your system.

Why hide alarm components? Our philosophy is to make the
installation your second line of defense!
- The siren should be installed where it cannot be easily reached and disconnected. We recommend mounting the siren in fender wells or inside bumpers as opposed to on the firewall. A hidden siren is almost impossible for a thief to disconnect.
- The above concept holds true for the "brain" which we like to install hidden behind the dash and not hanging below for easy access.
- Remember, the security system should only go off when someone tries to enter your vehicle, it should not false.
It takes a lot more time to install components in a stealth position - don't install an alarm only to have it easily disabled!
At the customer's request, we regularly rewire our competitors' alarm installs in order to hide the components.
Remote Starters - The Ultimate in Convenience
Like the name implies, a remote starter will allow you to start your car from a distance. From the warmth and comfort of your home or office, you can just push a button and your car will be toasty warm (or cool) when you're ready to leave.

They can't be engaged unless the transmission is in "park" so you don't have to worry about the car taking off on you. And even though the engine is running, the car can't be driven until you place your key in the ignition.
